The Infection Prevention kit is jargon free, easy to use and brings together legislation, regulations and best practice for all aspects of infection control and prevention. The kit includes action lists, check lists, your infection control policy, the latest infection control procedures as well as audits and an annual review for you to modify and adopt. Most of the work can be delegated to a team member.
The new guidance defines two levels of compliance: ‘essential quality requirements’, which should be met by practices within 12 months and ‘best practice’, which does not have a specific deadline but your practice is expected to have a plan of implementing it. The kit includes the tools for meeting the essential requirements and an action plan template for you to complete to show how you plan to move towards ‘best practice’.
The kit is provided free to CODE members and is available to non-members as a stand-alone product for £150 (incl. VAT). Those who purchase the kit have the opportunity to discover the benefits of CODE membership at a reduced price by paying a further £295 to access the additonal 130 CODE modules, saving £50 off the usual joining fee.
You can see the contents of the new kit here.
