It is estimated that CODE members spend £125 on dental materials per dental chair per week. With 2500 practices and an average of 2.5 chairs means that our members spend about £40m per year. This is spread across a number of suppliers on products by a range of manufacturers and currently about 60% through the Dental Directory.
If members are prepared to buy from preferred manufacturers through our preferred dealer CODE will be able to negotiate exceptional deals for members, giving individual practices the buying power of the large corporate chains, which will result in low prices, exclusive promotions and cash rebates.
Cost of branded products
Dental products continue to increase in cost due to the fall in sterling against the Euro and other currencies, and also due to regular price increases by the main manufacturers. This has a direct impact on the profit of practices, that’s why CODE is so keen to bring down prices.
